Individuals related to legislative work will get cream shirts along with a pink lotus print, cream-colored jackets, as well as khaki pants. The workers of both the Houses of Parliament will wear the same dress. According to the publishers, all 271 employees will get the new uniforms, and this will include those employed for reporting service and chamber attendants. One can see the deployed Parliament Security Service officers put on army-like attire rather than blue safari suits.
National Institute of Fashion Technology’s important role
The authorities asked the National Institute of Fashion Technology to provide suggestions for the new uniform’s design. Following this, a special committee was responsible for finalizing the new uniform according to those suggestions. An internal circulation reported that all eligible personnel and officials received their uniforms on September 6. Before, the plan was to distribute the uniforms at the inauguration of the brand-new parliament building; however, it got late.

Goodbye to the current Parliament House
A special session lasting for five days will begin on September 18 when the existing Parliament building can bid goodbye with the inauguration of the new building on September 19. The report has also asserted that there has been a change in the marshal’s dress code who will stand close to the seat of the Speaker. The new dress code has asserted that the marshals are going to put on cream-colored kurta pajama rather than safari suits right now and will also wear a Manipuri cap on the head.
