Udaipur – Famous places to visit

Lake Pichola

The Jagmandir Island Palace seems to float on Lake Pichola. We also call this the Lake Garden Palace and the construction of this establishment had been commissioned by Maharana Amar Singh in the year 1551. However, his grandson named Maharana Jagat Singh I finished the work. It is after this person that this lake has been named. You can only reach the palace which is one of the most famous Udaipur famous places only by means of a boat since it is situated in the middle of the lake. It will take nearly 30 minutes from the jetty to reach the palace which will open on all days from 10 in the morning to 6 PM.  

Udaipur famous places – City Palace

Maharana Udai Mirza Singh built this particular palace in the year 1559. It is a combination of European, Chinese, and Medieval styles of architecture. Here, you will come across at least 11 wonderful palaces which were built by different rulers during different periods. The size of this palace is quite awesome with terraces, courtyards, pavilions, hanging gardens, and so on. Virtually everything right here is fabulous including the architecture, the paintings on the walls, as well as the antics inside.  

Saheliyon Ki Bari
