World cup 2023 closing ceremony Update (Grand celebration on 19th Nov.2023)
World Cup 2023 closing ceremony is going to happen in Ahmedabad at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday. As a matter of fact, the World Cup 2023 cricket tournament will come to an end with the grandest closing ceremony that has happened in the sport’s history.
The 4-part ceremony will start at 12:30 pm with a majestic performance from the Indian Airforce 90 minutes prior to the start of the match.
Honouring the previous winning captains
The cricket board of India is going to honor the former World Cup-winning captains namely Clive Lloyd (West Indies), Allan Border (Australia), Kapil Dev (India), Ricky Ponting (Australia), Steve Waugh (Australia), Mahendra Singh Dhoni (India) as well as Eoin Morgan (England). The audience will be able to watch the performance of music director Pritam who will entertain them with his group of dancers.
Surya Kiran, the acrobatic team of the Indian Air Force, will enthrall the crowd for 10 minutes prior to the commencement of the final match. The Surya Kiran acrobatic team, led by Sidesh Kartik, consists of as many as 9 aircraft and it has the experience of performing a large number of air shows in India.
The air show details
• One will be able to watch the airshow without paying anything at all.
• As many as 9 Hawks from the airshow acrobatic team will perform in this show.
• After taking off from Ahmedabad airport, the flights will perform a vertical airshow on top of Narendra Modi Stadium.
Parade of champions
The previous World Cup-winning captains will be honored in this mega event on Sunday. The BCCI will honor all the World Cup-winning captains before a packed stadium in Ahmedabad. One will be able to witness 20-second-reel highlights of the winning moments of these captains on the big screen. The skippers will talk about their World Cup triumph with a BCCI/Star anchor. The BCCI authorities will provide them with special blazers that represent the ICC CWC 2023.
Jashn Jashn will rock the stadium and Pritam, the reputed music composer of India, will perform live. In fact, Pritam is going to perform with his group of more than 500 dancers to heat up the celebrations.
Protam, along with the singer, will perform live in front of the spectators while taking a 360 lap around the FOP much to the delight of the audience. In excess of 500 dancers will provide a fantastic experience to the spectators while creating formations on the FOP.
Second innings
There will be a second drinks break for 90 seconds at 8:30 pm.
The stadium’s roof will be used as a canvas along with a laser show and internationally programmed lights. There will also be an awesome fireworks display after the completion of the match which will decide the eventual winners of the World Cup.
