Last year, the UP government already announced one of the best projects which is an establishment of a new Film city in Noida! Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath already directed completely to make sure timely completion of the entire project so that film shooting could begin this year. Once the government announced this project, the government initially identified 1000-acre land near Jewar airport which comes under the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA).
Besides this film city also has a 40-acre land government has taken to build a film institute where training will be provided in different aspects of film and TV production such as choreography, production, direction, screenplay, editing, etc. A source said, currently, 80% of people who are related to the Mumbai film industry, come from UP, so once their film city will start then manpower will be not a problem.
The new film city
This rich project will provide a good space for the shooting of films and other programs. As per UP BJP secretary Chandramohan, this big project always generates huge revenue and brings more employment and it also improves the financial condition of the state. The project is already going fast and once it is complete; the film industry will get a better place for better movie spots. Filmmakers are also getting better alternatives once this project will complete. This project also increases the tourist business and it also provides an opportunity for those people who love acting and want to take admitted in an acting school. The greater Noida city authority always scrapped the night salary for this film city.
The government has already appointed CBRE, a global commercial real estate services company that is mainly consulting for this project. CBRE already submitted the details about the project report and further discussion is pending. This project includes many parts like production studios, post-production facilities, outdoor locations, hotels, special effects studios, workshops and amusement parks etc. Tourists will also find a film museum and space for retail and shopping.
Project details
This project also has a preliminary plan and as per that this entire project will be divided into five zones. Every zone will be linked to another zone. Now, the zone consists of an entrance and office, residential and shooting spots, an outdoor location, a theme park and airport, and university and studio rooms. UP government already ensure that this film city developed as an infotainment zone.
The government is already thought about the OTT platform and media streaming platforms as well. Government is always ready to provide their film maker, employees, and students with a high capacity and world-class center along with post-production and pre-production facility, proper infrastructure, and advanced digital technology! So, once this film city will be start for filmmakers, tourists, and others, it will create good financial profit for the state!
