The report has further stated that the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) has already given assurance to the ICC that the Indian government will clear the Pakistan team’s visa for the forthcoming World Cup.
Pakistan has not played any ICC event since 2013 in India. The Babar Azam-led Pakistan played against England in the ICC World Cup T20 final and finished second best eventually. The English side will start playing in the ICC World Cup this year as the defending champions. England succeeded in lifting the 2019 50-over World Cup trophy after beating New Zealand under the guidance of Eoin Morgan.
