2. Bhanu Athaiya

Pookutty was able to steal the limelight internationally after winning the Oscars for “Best Sound Mixing”. Resul Pookutty entered the film industry with a film done by Rajat Kapoor in the year 1997. He became quite popular because of the film “Black” which Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed in the year 2005. He has also the distinction of featuring in films such as “Enthiran”, “Zinda”, and “Traffic Signal” as the sound engineer.

4.  A.R Rahman

One can rightly call this person to be India’s musical pride without any doubt whatsoever. Being a notable singer, songwriter, and music composer, A.R Rahman has the distinction of providing some remarkable songs in lots of films such as Lagaan, Roja, and so forth. Incidentally, this musical phenomenon happens to be the only Asian and the only Indian who has succeeded in winning as many as two academic awards in the identical year for the film “Slumdog Millionaire” in the year 2009. A.R. Rahman has received the Oscars for “Best Original Song” and “Best Originals Score” for “Jai Ho”.

Her song “Hold My Hand” from the movie “Top Gun: Maverick” had likewise received nominations in the category of the best original song. Lady Gaga stood up and clapped her hands following the announcement of the winner at the 95th Academy Awards which was bagged by the “RRR” song.
