The Prime Minister wrote on Twitter regarding his DU visit that he is delighted to join the centenary celebrations of the University of Delhi at 11 AM on 30th June. He likewise added that this university happens to be a premier learning center and it is fostering talent while promoting intellectual development for about 100 years. He congratulated the fraternity of Delhi University on this particular landmark.

Guidelines set by some Delhi University colleges

The University of Delhi has already issued several guidelines for the faculties and the students. The commencement of the event will take place at 11 AM and one can see the live telecast on the university’s official YouTube page. The university has also restricted the accessibility of University Gate numbers 01 and 04 for the specified date. They did this for ensuring security and safety.

The Prime Minister will participate in the aforementioned closing ceremony as the chief guest. He will lay the foundation stone of the computer centre of the University during this program as well as the academic block that will come up in the university’s North Campus.

In the meantime, Zakir Hussain College made it compulsory for the newly appointed teachers and the staff members to assemble at the university’s multipurpose hall for the valedictory event. The administration of Delhi University has made it clear that it is not essential to attend the event and they also arranged for the live streaming of the event in case it is not possible for any person to watch it physically.
