IPL 2024 CLASH START WITH RCB VS CSK IN CHENNAI.

At Chennai, Tamil Nadu’s MA Chidambaram Stadium, the highly anticipated Indian Premier League (IPL) will begin today with a match between the reigning champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the redesigned Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

Chennai has an incredible five-time championship record, but Bengaluru, although never having won the title, is still considered the favourite because of its roster of elite players. Notably, Bengaluru has replaced Bangalore as the new name for RCB. In addition, Chennai broke with tradition by selecting Ruturaj Gaikwad to take over as captain in place of the legendary MS Dhoni.

Let’s take a look at CSK and RCB’s head-to-head record, which includes matches played, wins, defeats, and draws, before of their IPL 2024 showdown in Chennai.

When comparing the match statistics of these two teams, CSK comes out on top by a wide margin. Of the thirty-one matches, CSK won twenty of them, RCB won just ten, and one match ended in a draw. The 32nd meeting between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will take place on March 22.

Deepak Chahar vs. Virat Kohli:
After 73 IPL games, Chahar has established himself as a potent bowler in the Powerplay, especially when the circumstances are right for swing bowling. He can move the ball both ways, which may cause problems for even the most experienced hitters, like Virat Kohli. But after a long break, both are getting back into competitive activity.

Muhammad Siraj vs. Ruturaj Gaikwad:
When he captains CSK against the RCB at the Chepauk Stadium, Gaikwad will usher in a new era for the team. But Captaincy has a peculiar habit. Gaikwad was CSK’s most productive batsman in the previous season, and he will be looking to build on that performance, but the responsibility of captaincy will remain, especially in the opening few games.

Ravindra Jadeja vs. Glenn Maxwell:
In the T20s thus far, Maxwell has faced difficulty from the left-arm spinner, who has dismissed him seven times.

Moeen Ali vs. Faf du Plessis:
When Faf comes to Chepauk as RCB captain on Friday, he will try to ruin the side’s celebration. Faf was formerly a crucial member of CSK’s roster. He would, however, exercise caution when facing Moeen Ali, the great all-rounder for CSK, who has a penchant for taking early wickets in his session.
