CAA has been implemented in India: Right or Wrong.

Rules for the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), which was presented by the Narendra Modi administration and approved by Parliament in 2019, have been published by the Union Home Ministry. The CAA seeks to award Indian citizenship to non-Muslim migrants who were subjected to persecution and came in India prior to December 31, 2014, from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.

Minorities in our nation are being incited, particularly the Muslim minority. Since the Act makes no mention of citizenship, CAA cannot take away someone’s citizenship. Shah has stated, “The purpose of the CAA is to grant citizenship to refugees who were subjected to persecution in Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Some have applauded the bill, including Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Bareilvi, the president of the All India Muslim Jamaat; others, like Asaduddin Owaisi, the head of AIMIM, and Jairam Ramesh, the leader of the Congress, have criticised it as unconstitutional and divisive. West Bengal and Kerala have declared they will not be implementing the CAA. These are their words.

The CAA law has been enforced by the Indian government. This law is great. Though it’s better late than never, this should have been completed far sooner. About this law, there are a lot of misconceptions among Muslims. Muslims have nothing to do with this law. The Maulana told reporters, “There used to be no law granting citizenship to non-Muslims who fled religiously motivated atrocities and came from Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.

“This law will not have any impact whatsoever on the communities of Indian Muslims. No Muslim will have their citizenship revoked by this law. It has been observed that there have been protests in previous years; these were the result of miscommunications. Certain political figures sowed mistrust among Muslims… All Muslims in India ought to applaud the CAA.
